Do I Have Bipolar Disorder

July 3rd, 2009

I first started to wonder do I have bipolar disorder about 10 years ago. At that time, I was going through a state of excitement and inspiration. Out of nowhere, I felt filled with vigor and energy. I would stay up all night, painting, drawing, or just wandering around town looking for adventure. It was hard for me to understand that this wasn’t normal behavior. It felt so incredibly ecstatic and fun that I could not see that there was anything wrong with it. Nonetheless, when I lost my job after my sleeplessness caused me to miss work, I started to wonder do I have bipolar disorder

If you think that it’s going to cost you a bundle to start a home-based business…You’re right…and you’re wrong.  Ok let me explain myself.  Let me start off by reviewing an article I read by Paul Zane.

Paul Zane Pilzer is a highly respected economist, author, and presidential adviser who specializes in the economics of
what he calls, “The Age of the Entrepreneur.”

We just so happen to be at the beginning of this “age” and the article explains exactly why this is so important. I found this article extremely liberating and I wanted to share it with my readers.  Pleas visit my blog to get the complete article.

Among other topics, the article explains how our society is actually returning to it’s entrepreneurial roots, as well as the cost of starting a home based business compared to the cost of a traditional business. Go to Help Starting A Home Based Business.

Using Maps Of San Francisco

July 2nd, 2009

For most of my first day in the city, the map of San Francisco worked pretty well for me. I used it to get a bus down to Golden gate Park, to walk around and explore the mission, and do things like that. It was while I was wondering around, however, that I got into trouble. I ended up way up in the Russian Hill area, far away from where I wanted to be. The map of San Francisco still told me the direction, but everything was so steep and there was so much up-and-down that I couldn’t quite figure out the best way to get home. My legs were killing me after a whole day of walking down and up those tall San Francisco hills, and I just wanted an easy way back.

Creative Writing Class

July 2nd, 2009

When I took my first creative writing class, I was only a teenager. There was a creative writing enrichment program at an art college down the street, and I thought that I could use it as a way to develop my poetry. My parents liked the idea a lot. They loved my writing, and they wanted to see me take it as far as I could. I was very excited about creative writing classes, and the course didn’t disappoint me. I had had some opportunity to write creatively in high school, of course, and I spent a lot of time on my own writing poetry and short stories. Nonetheless, that creative writing class was beyond anything I had ever done.

Chosing a Quality Feather Bed Mattress

July 2nd, 2009

Have you ever woke up in the morning and felt a little discomfort in the joints or just had a feeling that your sleep probably wasn’t the best quality that you could should have had?  Many of us wake up like that and we often blame it on stress, or family problems and so on. The point is that the vast majority of people who don’t get a good night’s sleep has more to do with their bed and bedding items than the noise that’s going on between their ears. That’s not to say that stress and the like is not responsible for sleeplessness because it is, but brain strain or no brain strain, our sleeping experience can often be advanced from okayish to bliss simply by shopping for the right kind of bedding items, to include; a Quality Feather Bed Mattress, feather, down, or feather and down mixed comforters and pillows, and an uncluttered bedroom. Yes, the latter does sound odd, but honestly, a clean and tidy bedroom has a huge effect on how we sleep compared to a room full of dust and clutter with doors and drawers open all around. We all sleep, but we don’t all sleep the same, and if you think your bedtime is not night-time bliss, then you might want to take a look at your set-up.  Sleeping with feathers is beneficial for men, women and their children. A happy sleeper is a happy person, and that has to be good for family harmony in the home.

INTEREST BOOST PUTS A STOP TO MORTGAGE REFINANCING BOOM

July 2nd, 2009

As interest rates on home loans fell to 45-year lows this summer, they helped bring in record revenues on home loans for banks and other local lenders.

But with a rise in interest rates since the end of July, five local lenders, including publicly traded companies such as Anchor BanCorp Wisconsin, said they’ve seen a drastic fall in mortgage refinancing activity. The fall, they said, has wiped out 25 percent to 50 percent of their total applications for home loans and promises to cut income from both mortgage closings and sales, affecting their bottom lines and their business strategies.

MORTGAGE REFINANCING UPTURN IS PREDICTED

July 2nd, 2009

The new tax law and the increasing use of adjustable rate mortgages could bring about an increase in home mortgage refinancing in the near future, according to an official of Draper and Kramer Inc., a Chicago mortgage banking firm.

“Consumers no longer can take deductions on interest for things like credit cards or loans for personal items like new automobiles or home improvements,” said Tom Adams, Hanover Park branch manager for Draper and Kramer.

Home mortgage refinancing is in high gear

July 2nd, 2009

If the home mortgage refinancing rush of 1992-93 was a boom, then activity of the past few months is certainly a boomlet.

Increasing numbers of homeowners both in Springfield and across the nation are taking advantage of lower mortgage rates to refinance their loans, resulting in lower monthly payments, shorter terms or to get cash for remodeling or other needs.

Mortgage refinancing no sales help

July 2nd, 2009

Anyone who expects record mortgage refinancing this year to boost retailers’ holiday sales is going to be disappointed, according to Daniel Barry, a Merrill Lynch & Co. analyst. The holiday season may be the worst in a decade, according to Barry, the top-ranked department-store stock analyst in Institutional Investor magazine’s rankings for seven straight years. Discounters such as Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Dollar General Corp. ought to do best during the slowdown, in his view.
