Fishing For Bass
There are two main types of bass, largemouth bass and small mouth bass. Each is similar yet requires slightly different fishing equipment. Largemouth bass is the most popular game fish because of its widespread availability and because it is fun to catch. Largemouth bass technically belong to the sunfish family and are classified as warm water fish. They are often found in weedy lakes or ponds with plenty of cover. They are tolerant of slightly salty water so can be found in some tidewater rivers.
