Repairing A Ruptured Brain Aneurysm

There are two different procedures involved when Repairing A Ruptured Brain Aneurysm.

  1. Microsurgical Clipping
  2. Endovascular Coiling

The “Microsurgical Clipping” is a high risk invasive type of repair. A major risk is the possibility of nicking the cerebral aneurysm when placing a clip at the base of the ruptured aneurysm. The possibility of dying is increased by 30 to 35%.
