Repairing A Ruptured Brain Aneurysm
There are two different procedures involved when Repairing A Ruptured Brain Aneurysm.
- Microsurgical Clipping
- Endovascular Coiling
The “Microsurgical Clipping” is a high risk invasive type of repair. A major risk is the possibility of nicking the cerebral aneurysm when placing a clip at the base of the ruptured aneurysm. The possibility of dying is increased by 30 to 35%.
