July 6th, 2008Many people fall in love with a television show for a variety of reasons. Some find that they fall in love with the characters, and they feel like they are with friends while they are watching that show. That is probably why some shows do well and others don’t make it very far. If the viewer does not identify and become interested in the people on the show, they will most likely not come back for more. We all need to be entertained, but there also has to be a personal connection for viewers to tune in time and time again. When a show ends, it is often like losing a friend, and that is why many like to buy the complete series on DVD.
