Have Helmet Will Travel

August 13th, 2008

In round figures at today’s prices, a car driver is paying about double that of a motorcyclist. If your car gets 25 mpg it will or already does cost the driver of that small to medium-sized car about fifty dollars to fill their tank. With motorcycle gas mileage, the motorcyclist pulls up at the same pump and for the equivalent amount of gas pays twenty-five dollars. The new price of a bike is generally a fraction of a new car price and motorcycles depreciate faster than cars so a reasonably new bike can be picked up for a quite low price. With the cost of gas the way it is and looks like being, riding a motorcycle to work could well be the way to go.
