May 21st, 2008So what is a winning song? A wedding band version of “Imagine”? This sounded like 1972 Donny Osmond. Do the producers of this show want a teen idol to promote to make some fast bucks? I’m not knocking the kid but Cook is by far the most talented of the two. Cook also played guitar on two of the songs showing he’s not just a singer and his arrangements throughout the whole series we’re always well picked and a bit daring. Archuleta, on the other hand, has always stayed within a certain range and seldom veered off style wise and consistently performed well because of it.
