Middle Back Pain and Exercise
January 20th, 2008Most people suffer from back pain every now and then, especially as they get older. Lower back pain is the most common but middle back pain is not uncommon either. Since the mid back is less flexible then the rest of the spinal column it is not bent that much.
Back muscles can get strained from exercise or hard work. If rest isn’t enough then treatment by a doctor can be required. This is especially true after an accident or fall. Being overweight and a poor posture can also lead to middle back pain. A diet is good for your general health ( think heart) but also reduces the stress on your joints.
In general it is advisable to do regular back pain exercises so you will be less prone to back injuries in the future.
