The Worlds Windmills
March 9th, 2008Windmills used to have a practical purpose, often dependent on the weather, and in some places they still do, but in the main, the old World Windmills of yesteryear are protected and preserved as listed buildings and server little purpose other than to adorn the landscape and preserve a heritage. But they’re making a comeback but not in the traditional sense. Today’s windmills are the tall 3 bladed wind turbine types used to Generate wind power.
