What is the importance of public speaking?
There are lots and lots of situations in everyday life which may require you to deliver some sort of speech or presentation to a group of people – some groups you may know, some groups you may not know – however, the ability to speak confidently in public is a must for all of these situations and more. So my first answer to the question of the importance of public speaking is simply necessity – often it has to be done and often you cannot get out of it! – So it’s probably just as well to be prepared!
