Cubic Zirconia Engagement Rings
Cubic zirconia is a fancy name for imitation diamond, but just because it’s imitation doesn’t mean that it’s shoddy and low quality. In fact, cubic zirconia gives diamond a run for its money with its widespread popularity. Admittedly, there are some distinct differences between cubic zirconia and diamonds. For one, cubic zirconia doesn’t refract light the way that diamonds do. With cubic zirconia you’ll see a rainbow of colors in a prism effect because it disperses light more than diamonds do. Another difference is in texture—diamonds are much harder and clean cut than cubic zirconia. Also, ironically cubic zirconia will be more “perfect” in appearance than diamonds are.
