I am in business for myself. My number one goal, besides making
a profit, is not having employees. I wonder how many other small
business owners feel the same way? It’s no surprise that the
unemployment rate hangs above 10%. The government is smothering
small business. Too bad Obama only hires Ivy League academics
with big business buddies for advisers.
I used to have employees. My business was providing marketing
research, sales consulting, and sales services to small
technology companies. All my employees worked from home and were
located in several states. The work was all on computers and
phones. It seemed so simple.

Most people agree that professionals should be hired based on their skills and little more than that. When a candidate is better skilled then the competition, there really are not that many reasons why the person shouldn’t get the job. Of course, there legitimate reasons not to give him, or her, the job. Perhaps they were rude in the interview, arrived late, or the chemistry was completely lacking. But when a candidate doesn’t get a job they are best qualified for because of their race, religion, or sexual orientation, the candidate is being discriminated.
A level playing field should be with out question what everyone experiences in their professional career. In 2010 there are probably fewer employers that discriminate then ever, because of awareness and laws that are enforced. But there are still people that have prejudices, or are simply unaware that they are in fact discriminating. It is therefore everyone’s duty to help stop employment discrimination, either by not accepting work with these employers, even if it is only a part time job, or blowing the whistle if you run across such unfairness.

When you consider where you will buy artificial grass – to do your part because 36 states will have water shortages in the next 3 to 6 years – consider Purchase Green.
The main environmental focus for the past decade has been CO2 emissions, yet for many around the world a lack of clean water, water shortages and poor sanitation is a more pressing issue. Worldwide it is estimated that approximately 1.2 billion people lack access to freshwater, which equates to one sixth of the world’s population. By 2050 this figure will have risen to 2 billion.
The US Government estimates (as of August 2009) that at least 36 states will experience water shortages in the next 3-6 years.
With the World Health Organization estimating that 80% of illnesses and deaths in developing countries are caused by unsanitary water or lack of water. The issue is truly a global one and not one for just the developing world.
How will the water industry address one of the most pressing human crises of the 21st century?
Artificial grass is one way to do your part. In the United States it is estimated that 60% of all water usage is for landscape irrigation. 60%! It is a combination of millions of households doing their part to help combat our water shortage. Imagine – 36 states with expected water shortages in the next 3 to 6 years!
According to the World Water Council the use of renewable water resources has grown six-fold since 1900 and is expected to double again by 2050, therefore recycling waste-water to create fresh water supplies will be vital globally, especially for developing and third-world countries.
The emerging environmental technologies sector is currently worth $600 billion worldwide and the water industry accounting for more than 50% of this business.
If you are not a “do-it-yourself” kind of person – have your artificial lawn installed by Panjia. Remember – 60% of all water usage in a typical residential setting is for landscape irrigation. Do your part!

The recession continues on despite the central bank related news stories that tell us everything is starting to turn around. And for small and medium sized business owners, business financing of their cash flow continues to be challenging as lenders continue to sit on the fence until they feel the overall economy has improved enough.
Small business loans are still available, but they are much harder to come by than a year ago. So if your cash flow is hurting, or starting to look like it could take a down turn, don’t assume that your local banker is going to extend you more credit any time soon.
Asset based forms of lending that tend to be higher in cost, have become more popular as the global cash flow gets squeezed. Credit facilities like accounts receivable factoring and credit card advance programs do provide a source of cash for small and medium sized businesses, but it definitely comes with a high ticket price and requires the business to have some strong underlining margins to be able to afford either one of these solutions.
But in the short term, it can just be about survival for some, so even paying a higher cost will be worth it to many business owners.

If you are applying for Social Security disability benefits in the state of California, you may be out of luck. California is broke and on the verge of collapse. This is the result of socialist politicians spending more money than taxes can bring in. You name it, California will tax it yet it still isn’t enough. Unknown to most people, when you go to buy a computer monition, there is a $16 tax which they call a disposal fee, levied on the assumption that some time in the future, you will get rid of your monitor. Expect more hidden taxes in the future as you who have jobs, will have to pay for the mistakes of greedy politicians.

Technology has completely changed what we have called political campaigning. In the past years, California governor candidates would go extra mile in terms of their political ambitions. The kind of campaigning they had back then requires months of strategizing and planning not to mention ample amount of money so they could produce and mail their campaign materials to newspapers and scheduled speeches to get more publicity.
The governor candidates in California have reached celebrity status on social networking sites, but is it enough to fix California’s problems? Read more in this great article, by David Chan, at http://adpublishing.org.

It’s a mistaken view that the only job of an economist is to monitor the U.S. economy for signs of instability and weakness, or forecast how long the market will take to rebound. Sure, this is one job that a top market economist might do, but there are many more jobs in a range of fields that are even more popular. Behind every successful business, there are financial analysts, accountants, operations managers and consultants directing how the company uses resources and runs most efficiently. Whether it’s a branch of government, a non-governmental organization, private industry, health care systems, universities or financial institutions, you can rest assured that someone with a degree in economics is working behind-the-scenes to ensure success. To find a job in this well-paying field, students must first pursue an economics education, preferably to the highest degree.

Have you ever wonder what life is like as a stately queen in a huge palace or a castle? Have you ever wished that everyone would call you, “Your royal highness”?
I often did. Of course, I have had a tiniest of whiffs of it when on an occasional Halloween I drape a stunning gown around my body and set a queen royal crown on top of my head and just pretend — pretend that all that is real.
But day dreaming put aside, Halloween can be ever so much more fun when one wears a fabulous costume and a queen crown set in diamonds, emeralds and rubies. And such crowns can be found in abundance at www.Queencrowns.org, the online superstore that sells queen crowns and nothing else.

Number 3: Nationalize all the off shore drilling past the 10 or 20 mile limit. In other words, once you are 10 miles off shore, the states have no jurisdiction. All environment suits must be filed in one federal court. State courts will not have the right to hold up drilling permits any longer.
Number 4: Give the states an economic incentive to drill for oil off their shores. Make it financially lucrative for them. In California, they are currently having a major budget shortfall. The Governor just came to Washington begging for a bailout. McCain should announce that California’s budget shortfall could easily be overcome with his offshore drilling plan.

Apparently, there are so many implications, it’s hard to know where to begin. Whereas you might like conservative politicians if they tend to preserve the established institutions, would you like the same candidate who is opposed to change? If you want to nit-pick, how about an unimaginative, reactionary, conservative politician?
In the past three years I’ve read a blog regarding on political blogs and I feel like they have really enhanced my understanding of current events. We live in such a conservative society that much of the real news of what is going on is censored by the mainstream media. Unfortunately, political blogs don’t have the budget to do some of the things that the more mainstream news outlets do. They cannot have correspondents all over the world, for example, ready to report any event that happens. News analysis is a valuable service, and one that is completely neglected by the mainstream media. Thanks to political blogs, we can get beyond the the facile analysis provided by most of the news pundit shows.
In this hot political season, more insight and commentary about conservative politics can be found at our website. Please stop by and voice your opinion.

All commercial as well as non-commercial deals that people and businesses have must respect the laws laid down in the constitution. However, often there are violations to the several hundred laws that have been laid down in the constitution or promulgated through acts and ordinances. It is the duty of the local government of each district to oversee the implementation of laws in its territory. In addition, each district has a district attorney and an assistant district attorney to ensure that any violations are brought to the notice of courts and the perpetrators punished.
New York being a district that is home to thousands of businesses and millions of people has a very high number of reported violations of laws. It is impossible for a single person to become an expert in all the laws applicable to people living in this district. Similarly, it is impossible for a single district attorney to oversee that all violators are adequately punished by the courts of justice. The New York District Attorney is assisted in this mammoth task by an assistant.
Assistant district attorneys are generally not in the limelight and have a hard time climbing up to district attorney. However, a select few assistant district attorneys like Louis O’Neill have done it. In his years of working under the district attorney, O’Neill mastered all the skills he would later need to climb the career ladder and achieve success.
The interests of the county administration in the areas of compliance with the law and the courts is represented by the assistant district attorney. The lead district attorney’s job is to guide the assistant attorney in each case before the courts.
The assistant attorney in New York has an important job that differs from criminal prosecution. With the district attorney’s supervision, the assistant attorney is in charge of defense in civil suits that citizens of New York file against the county.
The assistant district attorney nyc also assists the district attorney in filing civil suits on behalf of the county. This is one area in which Louis O’Neillwas remarkably adept at. During his tenure, Louis O’Neill was able to bring several million dollars of penalties arising out of court settlements of civil suits filed by the county.
The district attorney oversees the assistant district attorney’s work, and offers sound advice to the assistant attorney as the latter goes through the routines of representing the county administration in all concerns regarding compliance or violations of the laws. The assistant district attorney nyc also assists the district attorney in filing civil suits on behalf of the county. This is one area in which Louis O’Neill was remarkably adept. That’s right, taking guns out of law-abiding citizens leaves them sitting ducks. Studies show that areas with less lawfully-owned guns have a higher crime rate than those that have more. With the rise of liberal policies that threaten the right to bear arms according to the United States Constitution, you better seriously look into other home security avenues to protect your family. Home intrusion is out of sight in areas like Australia, United Kingdom, and Mexico where guns are banned. Why? Because criminals own guns illegally anyways. Banning guns only takes them away from law-abiding citizens leaving them defenseless. Make it easier on the criminals why don’t ya! Let’s face it, the police force could never be large enough to protect every citizen from heinous crimes. The cost would be impossible to meet.

It is amazing indeed that a news story whether right or wrong is so quick to be taken as truth. Even worse when that news story degrades the men and women in the Marine Corps, such as the recent story in Iraq over the killing of 24 members of a family in a city in Iraq.

No matter what shape the economy is, there will always be police jobs out there. When you think about it, it can be a pretty cushy occupation. You make a lot of money, and you don’t need to have a lot of education to do it. The problem is that it is no picnic. Don’t get me wrong, going to a police academy is easy. Police Officer training is pretty simple as well, and you do not have to be at a very high level of physical fitness to be a cop. Nonetheless, make no mistake about it. Police officers really do have to work sometimes.

John C. Fremont was an American military officer, a senator opposed to the slave trade and an explorer, who gave his name to the city of Fremont ca. Today, the city has a cosmopolitan population and is home to many Afghans and Asians, such as Indians, Taiwanese and Chinese. Other immigrants have resulted in an interesting variety of restaurants, namely Armenian, Middle Eastern, Korean and Cuban. One of the city’s surrounding landmarks is the Diablo Range. The highest peak in these hills is Mission Peak and hikers frequent the Peak.

There is going to be a big announcement made at Mount Rushmore South Dakota this spring. Apparently there is someone that wants to put another face on the mountain, the face of Ronald Regan. The fund raising has begun as the sculpting of a face this big is not a small undertaking. It has not been mentioned who the sculpture will be done by although there have been rumors that a local man would be in charge. The official announcement is designed to illicit public opinion about the project. Opinions will be gathered for several months before the final decision is made to authorize the go ahead on the project. Most people thought there was no more room on the mountain for another sculpture but after years of computer models a way was found to actually take some of the removed rock and reattach it therefore making it possible to get one more head up there. There were several suggestions as to who’s head should actually be put there. Al Gore was dismissed immediately as were Bill Clinton and George Bush. Some thought we should wait for Hillary Clinton to become president and put her up there. Obama immediately objected to that suggestion.

Electronic mind control slavery has taken its part in those of us who have the ability to reach others at an emotional level. I sometimes read these mind control posts on different political boards. Back in the 50s hypnosis was a major focus of mind control research. To add to the possibilities of mind control, there are thousands of individuals seeing what they call master numbers 1111, 222, 444, 555, etc. The more I learn the more disturbing the potential of mass mind control becomes. My only comment: mind control works on the weak-minded, so victims should take that into consideration. Most experts say it’s only a matter of time before mind control weapons are a reality. There are a lot of mind control techniques that give the power of influencing others to follow your lead. Conversational hypnosis is something nearly similar to mind control. With the election season upon us, we should ask ourselves if we really know who these people are that are running for public office. Seriously, who are these guys? Have they committed crimes in their past? Are they to be trusted? There was a time when the media would do such research for us, but in this time of partisanship and bias, the media can’t be trusted to deliver this information. It may be time for the voting public to perform background checks themselves on these candidates, and share this information via the new media, that being blogs and websites.
Background checks enable consumers to delve deeper into an individual’s background, giving them the information they need to feel secure that their potential date, neighbor, caretaker or business partner is really who they say they are.
Backgroundcheckforcriminalrecords.com has researched a broad range of background check and criminal record providers, and it has chosen “Instant Background Report” as its exclusive partner for this all-important service to employers, landlords, and individuals.
