Constipation relief may be easier than people think. In fact it is usually easier to prevent that to treat. Leading a life with adequate exercise, fluid intake and high fiber diet is a must. A diet high in fiber can keep your digestive system in tip top shape and make you feel good all around because of it.
There are two types of constipation obstructed defecation and colonic slow transit. The causes for obstructed defecation are usually mechanical and functional causes. While those of colonic slow transit are due to diet, hormones, side effects of medications, and heavy metal toxicity. There are a number of treatments for constipation relief that can be followed.
Several treatments for constipation relief are: changes in dietary habits, laxatives, enemas, biofeedback, colon cleansing and in some cases even surgery. However, one must be very careful when choosing the treatment.
Laxatives although work can make the body dependent, and in turn worsen the problem. Enemas only help when the fecal matter is already out of the intestine, and surgery is just in worst case scenarios. Colon cleansing is another way to find constipation relief. The way colon cleansing works is that it cleans out the colon, and possibly other parts of the digestive tract depending on what type you use.
When your body is cleansed from the inside it affects everything from your skin to your cholesterol. Not to mention, it can help prevent dangerous diseases. So, take care of your digestive system and it will take care of you.

My mother is 93 years old. She had been suffering from severe constipation for several years. I came across PoopDoc on the internet and decided to try it. She’s been using it for 4 years now and has had no constipation problems at all. Sometimes she swears she’s pooping out more than what she is eating. My question is why hasn’t the word about your product gotten out to doctors and hospitals? I don’t believe in miracles but this product is as close to a miracle product that I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend it.

I went weeks and weeks without ever taking a bowel movement. I told my mom about this concern and she took me to the doctor. The doctor gave us a prescription which we didn’t get. So I just went back to exercising, prune juice and oatmeal. Then one day I felt my clothes getting tighter. I stepped on my bathroom scale and found out that I weighed 122 lbs. I was shocked! I have had enough. I got on the internet and started surfing for a miracle detoxification product. And I found PoopDoc! I liked the other testimonies and what it guaranteed. I called PoopDoc and a nice guy told me all I needed to know. After a few weeks, I finally mailed my money order for it. As soon as it arrived, I took about ten capsules and got instant results. I lost about 10 lbs. and started taking bowel movements regularly. I no longer feel bloated or about to explode. PoopDoc is worth the money and patience. I would never recommend anything else!

Constipation symptoms involving blood in the stool may also be caused by rectal bleeding. Rectal bleeding can be caused by fissures which are the result of dry, hard stool tearing the anus tissue during a bowel movement. Fissures are particularly painful but these constipation symptoms should heal once the strained bowel movements cease.
Finally, blood in the stool is one of those constipation symptoms that really require a physician’s attention because it may be the result of polyps or colon cancer. Polyps are non-cancerous growths on the inside of your colon. In time, polyps may develop into cancer. However, colon cancer can usually be effectively treated if caught early enough which is why you need to see a doctor immediately when blood in the stool is one of your constipation symptoms.

First, you have to know that you can come back to absolute health. The more I read about other people / tribes around the world, there are plenty that live to ages 120 – 150. Something you never hear of here, and there is a reason for it.
Commit to change, this is the hardest because habits kill. It really means that almost all of us wait until we are almost falling to our death, about to splat on the pavement before we decide “I better do something.
Drink water. 2 to 3 quarts a day of purified clean water is the minimum recommended.
Exercise, walk, run, hike, etc., but do it every day. Maybe take off Sunday the day of rest.
Poop. A huge part of detoxifying (taking the load off of the immune system) is an optimally working colon. Go daily as a minimum, take fiber daily and take probiotics (take for a month and repeat every other month) which is an incredibly key player and responsible for our health in so many ways.

In a study published in a 2001 European medical journal, the probiotic Lactobacillus casei Shirota, was found to improve the symptoms of constipation in 89% of the subjects, such as: constipation severity decreased, bowel movement became more frequent, stool consistency improved.
However, symptoms of gas and bloating remained the same. This probably indicates the need for a dietary changes or another type of probiotic that cures flatulence. Lactobacillus casei Shirota alone can’t cure stomach irritants that cause gas and intestinal swelling, despite its positive effect on constipation.
Given the many side effects of OTC meds like laxatives and other stomach irritants, more Americans are now looking at probiotics to solve constipation, as well as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Leaky Gut Syndrome, and Crohn’s disease.

You may not have enough good bacteria for your body to operate as it likes. Additionally, once you cleanse colon waste out of your system, this process will also cleanse some of those good bacteria away. Therefore, you need to replace them. This is what probiotics do too.
Once your system returns to normal, it’s time for maintenance. You don’t want the constipation to come back, do you? You should put your body on a regular colon cleanse schedule. By regularly making a habit to cleanse colon waste out of your system, you’ll stop it from getting to the point of chronic constipation. Additionally, don’t forget that you’re going to need to replace the good bacteria that are being flushed out during the colon cleanse. So, when you do a colon cleanse, you should also make sure that you have a probiotics supplement nearby and are taking it regularly to keep all of your bacteria at the right levels.

Stool may become small and compacted, and you may even notice diarrhea or a white milky discharge while experiencing constipation problems for extended periods. It is not common for constipation problems to persist for more than a few days, but a doctor should be consulted if symptoms do not disappear after 4-5 days. There are times when the bowel movements do not normalize, and symptoms persist for several days without lessening.
In many cases, chronic constipation symptoms will intensify until it feels like the abdomen is about to burst. It is urgent that a doctor be consulted immediately because severe constipation is a very serious condition that can lead to death when left untreated.
It is vital to eliminate stool from your colon and gastrointestinal tract because waste is filled with bacteria and other harmful toxins that will be reabsorbed into your blood if they are not evacuated during normal bowel movements.

Since the diet of constipated people are high on fast food and processed foods intake, naturally they overlook the benefits that vegetables and fruits have. All fruits and vegetables contain natural fiber and therefore are great as a constipation remedy. Some fruit and vegetables have more fiber content than some.
Foods that are prominent as a constipation remedy include: anything whole grain, broccoli, cauliflowers, endives, cabbage, asparagus, brussel sprouts, carrots, prunes/plums, papayas, dates, grapes, mangoes, apricots, olives, persimmons, bananas, avocados, almonds, walnuts, corns, potatoes, tomatoes, figs, coconuts, pineapples, soybeans, rhubarbs, aloe vera, senna, psyllium, flaxseed, watercress and turnips.
As a constipation remedy, fruits can be eaten fresh or dried. But it is best to eat them as fresh as can be since when fruits are dried, they tend to lose their natural fibers. With the exception of prunes; even though prunes are dried plums, they have higher fiber content than fresh plums.

Flaxseed has a number of items that are good for your overall health, from proteins to omega-3 fatty acids and a number of vitamins. This may, believe it or not, help reduce your instances of constipation. The reason for this is that the healthier your body is the better chance it has to cleanse colon waste on its own, without any other assistance.
However, when you first start flaxseed, chances are you’ve already been dealing with the constipation issue. So you need something that will help you now. Starting a flaxseed regimen can give the body an even bigger boost of energy to battle constipation in the future. But, it can take a while to really have an effect, and you already have a “backlog” of waste to deal with. So, you may want to invest in a colon cleanse to get a faster constipation relief.

If you don’t listen to your body’s signals, this can have the side effect of not allowing your body to clear waste when it needs to, and may end up with you constipated.
Here’s how this works:
Have you ever had an urge to go, but couldn’t it go at that particular point in time? Most of us have. This is why our body allows us to go when we need to, not automatically making us to go like some of the other creatures in the animal kingdom. However, quite often, we make the mistake of not just holding off on going for a few minutes until we get to a restroom, but putting it off until there’s a more convenient time. This could be 30 minutes, an hour or more later, depending on what we have going in our day at that time.

For most sufferers, Rett Syndrome and constipation go hand in hand. The reason being is that this disorder is not sending messages to the nerves inside the body as it should. That means the nerves that are in the intestines and colon that are supposed to trigger moving food and waste through the system are not responding as they should. This leads to waste being stuck in the system for much longer than it should. When this happens, the waste begins to dry out. The more it gets to dry out, the harder it becomes for the body to move it through. Couple this with the fact that the nerves don’t want to do the job properly in the first place and Rett Syndrome and constipation can become very painful.
